Born in Indonesia and raised in New Zealand, Jesbery holds a Master of Music with First Class Honours from the University of Auckland where she learnt from Edith Salzmann.
She has played for, and worked with many renowned artists such as renowned cellists Daniel Müller-Schott, Torleif Thedéen, Alexander Gebert, Clemens Krieger (Dresdner Philharmonie), Dinar Enikeev (Robert Schumann Philharmonie), Ramón Jaffé and Elisabeth Kufferath of the Tetzlaff String Quartet, amongst others in both Germany and New Zealand.
In 2014, her chamber group took first prize at the ACMNZ competition with Igor Naidin of the Borodin Quartet on the panel and went through to the semi-finals at the Malta International Music Competition.
An active orchestral musician, she has played soundtracks for films and also various ensembles around New Zealand. Jesbery also plays regularly with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra.
