Emma McNab
A third year Performance Flute Student at The University of Auckland, Emma McNab has moved from her home town of New Plymouth to peruse her University Studies under Prof Uwe Grodd. Since moving to Auckland Emma has made the city her home and is relishing in the study and performance opportunities and enhancing her teaching skills which gives her great pleasure. A love of performing has seen Emma with many performance opportunities including, playing second flute and piccolo in the Manukau Symphony Orchestra, being Associate Principle Flute in the NZ Youth Symphonic Winds Band and playing in the Douglas Lilburn Composition Competition 2017. Emma has also taken numerous master classes opportunities which include Emily Beynon (Principle Flautist of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Amsterdam) and Marya Martin (Flute teacher at the Manhattan School of Music).
