Annie had a great passion for music since a very young age. Currently pursuing a diploma for the classical guitar under the guidance of established guitarist Peter Doublinszki, Annie has been learning the instrument starting at the age of 9, formerly taught by German classical guitarist Jan-Peter Reich.

As part of becoming a better musician, Annie has been participating in numerous SAPACS competitions since 2013, where she was awarded Most Promising Instrumental Soloist in the same year and General Instrumental Champion in 2014, as well as performing at countless guitar society concerts in Ponsonby. Additionally, Annie was also one of the four soloists featured in the 4tissimo Guitar Concert Series which was held in Devonport.

Aside from having a strong interest in all areas of music, especially guitar playing and A Capella singing, Annie is also a learning enthusiast as she looks forward to building upon both her playing and teaching skills at Albany School of Music.
